Important Policies

Privacy & Confidentiality Policy

​The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

​

Exceptions include:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

​

  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

​

  • If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.

Practice Policies

  • Fees are $150-200 per therapy hour for licensed clinicians, and $100 for associate and master’s level clinicians.

  • Group sessions are $65 per session

  • To provide excellent, affordable therapy services to all, we have interns who see clients for a reduced rate of $50. Licensed therapists supervising interns reserve the right to sit in on these sessions to ensure compliance and client progress.

  • We accept some insurance and EAPs, as well as private pay. If using insurance or EAP benefits, it is up to you to contact your company to determine if your therapist is on their panel as well as coverage.

  • If you have out-of-network benefits through your insurance, we can supply a superbill for reimbursement. We do require full payment of services up front. 

  • The standard meeting time for psychotherapy is 53 minutes, and all appointments must begin by 10 minutes after the hour. 

  • Please remember to cancel or reschedule 48 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if you cancel or reschedule in less than 48 hours. 

  • New clients that do not have intake forms completed within 48 hours of their first appointment will be canceled. 

  • All clients are required to have a credit card on file. Services will not be rendered. No exceptions.

  • Payment is expected at the time of treatment. If payment is not received within 30 days, the therapist reserves the right to terminate therapy and will report delinquent accounts to collections.
