Regular Sessions
Online sessions are available via Simple Practice. This is a safe, HIPAA compliant portal used to conduct sessions for individuals, families, and couples!
*All insurance sessions are billed starting at $150. The below rates are discounted for cash pay only clients.

Initial diagnostic assessment and evaluations are $150

Individual 60-minute sessions are $100

Couples and family 90-minute sessions are $150

$50-60 for interns

Please note that additional fees may incur for going past the allotted time.
Pre-Marital Sessions
Pre-marital packages are cash only. Insurance is not accepted for these sessions. They include the following: 6 one-hour sessions. Packages include one free 30-minute interview, two pre-marital assessments, two copies of the pre-marital book we will use, signing off for the marriage certificate discount, and a six-month follow-up with the couple. Online pre-marital sessions are available through Simple Practice or Doxy. Georgia couples can save up to $40 on their marriage license.

We accept most major insurance carriers. Please contact our office to verify your insurance. Be sure to speak to your insurance company in advance regarding co-pays and deductibles.

We require a major credit card to be on file and/or HSA/FSA card. We do not accept cash on site or checks.

All clients are required to have a credit card on file. Services will not be rendered. No exceptions.

Payment is expected at the time of treatment. If payment is not received within 30 days, the therapist reserves the right to terminate therapy and will report delinquent accounts to collections.
Towards a Cash Pay Practice
At Empowering Minds Care Counseling, we uphold the highest ethical standards. Due to our commitment to providing high quality care, we will be transitioning to a cash pay only practice. Clients can continue to use their insurance through April 2026. However, beginning September 1, 2025, we will no longer accept insurance for couples and family counseling. Our practice will be tailored for individuals committed to personal growth through counseling and see counseling as an investment in their well-being and growth.

Cancellation Policy

The standard meeting time for individual psychotherapy is 53 minutes, and all appointments must begin by 10 minutes after the hour.

Please remember to cancel or reschedule 48 hours in advance. You will be responsible for the entire fee if you cancel or reschedule in less than 48 hours.
